The Telluride Mountain Run is a challenging and technical mountain race in the San Juan Mountains above the beautiful historic mining town of Telluride, Colorado. With three challenging and technical routes, runners navigate old mining roads, singletrack and alpine tundra over mountain passes, exposed ridgelines, and high summits. TMR is extremely difficult with big elevation gain at altitudes above 13,000 ft. The focus of the race is the experience: the burn of high elevation, the striking colors of the San Juans, and the reward of finishing right where you started.

2025 Town Information and Resources

This year’s TMR will be sharing Telluride Town Park and other area resources with a 2-night concert featuring the artist “Of The Trees”. This concert event will be much larger than the Telluride Mountain Run so we are wanting to prepare all of our participants for a busier Telluride than in the past. The concert will run from 5pm to 11pm, Friday and Saturday, with a maximum attendance of 7,250 people per night. We have been working closely with the concert promoter to create a coordination plan so that both events can happen concurrently in town and the park. With this plan we are confident that we will be able to produce the same safe and enjoyable race that many of you have participated in the past.

There are a few things that will inevitably change in town with the increase of visitors over the weekend. This list includes availability of parking, camping, and lodging for our participants. We have recently updated the “Town Info” tab with options for reserved camping and parking along with a few local lodging discount deals. We have also arranged for discounted concert tickets for Saturday night following the race.
