Safety
The safety of our participants is always our priority. To achieve this goal we ask all participants to respect the following rules, policies and actions detailed below. This event is very remote at times and should be approached with preparation, caution and care. Although we have safety personnel and medical staff available, know that evacuation from any point along the course will be a slow and difficult process. We expect you to be self-sufficient and responsible on race day.
Again... there are sections of this course that are extremely technical, steep and loose. THIS IS A MOUNTAIN RACE, NOT A TRAIL RUN- participants will be running to altitudes of over 13,000ft on exposed ridgelines and steep, rocky summits. There are many sections of this course that will be exposed to falls, potential rockfall and hazardous weather. There will be safety personnel along sections of the route monitoring these hazards but all participants should be responsible for their own safety. THIS IS NOT AN EVENT FOR BEGINNERS.
Age Limit
No runners under 16 years old
Time Limits
*Cut-off times will be strictly enforced for the safety of the runners. If you check into an aid station after the cut off, you MUST NOT go on.

24 mile
There will be a 10.5 hour time limit to complete the course so that we can have the course clear of runners by 4:00pm.
40 mile

*If the staff working at any aid station determine that a participant is not fit, healthy, or prepared to continue to higher altitudes or more inaccessible areas, they have the right to not let the participant continue the race.
