Event Parking
*Please DO NOT park at Telluride Town Park! We’ve taken over this lot in the past and we are on thin ice with the Town for doing so. Help us out, don’t park here!…not even “for just a little bit”.
The easiest place to park in town without the risk of getting a ticket is at the free Carhenge Parking Lot. From the first roundabout in town, turn right and follow the signs for free parking- Google Maps knows this spot. This lot is a nice 5-10 minute warm up jog along the River Trail to the starting line at the park. There is also free town bus that runs between the finish line and Carhenge all day, 7am-8pm.
Race Check in,Start and Finish
Located in Telluride Town Park on the far east end of town. We will be located in the NW end of the park under the big white tent.
Gondola
The Gondola is free and provides transportation from Telluride to Mountain Village. There is an option to get off at the top San Sophia Station and is a great place to start a hike or cheer on the 13 mile and 40 mile runners before they descend to the finish line. Please keep in mind that the Gondola does not start until 6:30am if you are staying in Mountain Village. The ride takes about 20 minutes.
